Trend Analyst: AI that reads Fortnite map trends
Before you build, look at what players actually play. The Trend Analyst studies Fortnite map trends and other games you select, weighs the evidence and proposes an original adaptation for your island, with a measurable test.
Reading Fortnite map trends
The Trend Analyst works from Island Pilot’s Map Trends space. Fortnite islands come from FNTerminal, a free public API built on the official Fortnite Data API: most-played creator islands, rising, new, best retention and estimated revenue. Roblox picks, popular web games and your own links, YouTube videos, images and cards sit alongside them.
Select up to eight items and a conversation with the analyst opens. It identifies the best-supported UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite) opportunity, proposing an original adaptation rather than copying titles, branding or assets.
How it works
- Method: it loads the trend evaluation reference from its marketing and Discover guide.
- Read: it reads the selected items in small batches, with their dated observations.
- Score: it rates six criteria (traction, momentum, engagement, differentiation, feasibility, clarity) from 0 to 4, or unknown, with no artificial total.
- Save: it stores one analysis per item in the library, with an actionable conclusion.
It keeps observations, platform highlights and hypotheses apart. A Hot or Top Rated badge and video metadata prove neither retention nor revenue, and concurrent players are not retention. It ends with the best-supported opportunity, the evidence, the uncertainty and one measurable next test.
Once you pick an idea, the orchestrator can plan the prototype with the Verse Coder and the Level Designer.
Example prompts
- Evaluate my selection of eight rising islands and suggest an original idea.
- What UEFN opportunity do you see between this Roblox game and this web game?
- Score these three tycoon concepts and tell me which to prototype first.
- Suggest a measurable test to validate the idea before I spend a month on it.
- Compare these two islands: what is observed, and what is only a hypothesis?

Limits
The Trend Analyst does not infer a game’s mechanics from its name or badges, does not claim to have played it and does not invent a global cross-platform ranking. An unknown value stays unknown, never zero. It does not modify project files or the editor, does not start other specialists and never claims a prototype was built. External descriptions and video metadata are treated as untrusted data, not instructions.

FAQ
Where does the data come from?
Fortnite islands come from FNTerminal, a free public API built on the official Fortnite Data API. Roblox picks, popular web games and the links or cards you add yourself complete the library.
Does refreshing the data use my AI subscription?
No. Sources refresh at launch and on demand without any AI call. Only an analysis you start uses your model, with at most 16 steps.
Will it copy maps that work?
No. It proposes original adaptations without reusing the titles, branding or assets of the games it analyzes.
Can it start building the prototype?
No, it does not change the project or start specialists. Hand the chosen idea to the orchestrator, which will plan the work.
