Built-in FNTerminal: Fortnite island stats where you build
Island Pilot has a native FNTerminal integration that brings Fortnite island stats straight into your workspace: live players, retention, rising islands and estimated earnings. You see what players actually play before deciding what to build, without leaving your project.
Fortnite island stats built into Island Pilot
FNTerminal is built on the official Fortnite Data API. Island Pilot pulls several of its creator-island lists (Epic’s own islands are left out) and brings each island together on a single card, with the badge of every list it appears in and its genre:
- Top players: the most played creator islands right now;
- Rising: islands whose player counts are climbing;
- New: recent islands that already have at least 50 players;
- Best retention: islands that bring their players back;
- High estimated earnings: the top earners, according to FNTerminal’s estimate.
Live players, D1 and D7 retention, estimated earnings
Every card shows the island’s thumbnail, creator, description and tags, along with these metrics:
| Metric | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Players right now | Current player count, about 30 minutes behind |
| 24 h change and peak | The day’s trend and its high point |
| Plays and unique players over 24 h | The day’s real volume |
| Minutes per player | Average time spent |
| D1 and D7 retention | Share of players who came back the next day and seven days later |
| Estimated earnings per day | An FNTerminal estimate, in dollars |
Each card also links to the island’s page on fnterminal.live, which goes further: full player history and where the island sits in Discover.
Agents that look at what players actually play
These figures land in the Map Trends space, next to Roblox and web game picks. Select up to 8 islands and the Trend Analyst scores them: traction, momentum, engagement, differentiation, UEFN feasibility and concept clarity.
It keeps what the data shows apart from what it assumes. A heavily played island doesn’t necessarily retain well, and estimated earnings aren’t an Epic figure: the analyst doesn’t mix these metrics up. It ends with a measurable test to run on a prototype, which the orchestrator can then plan with the AI agent team.
- “Of these 5 rising tycoons, which has the best D7 retention, and why?”
- “Compare these two parkour islands and suggest an original idea I can build in UEFN.”
When the data updates
- At launch
- Island Pilot queries FNTerminal in the background
- On demand
- The “Refresh sources” button, at most once a minute for FNTerminal
- AI cost
- None: collecting data runs no model
- Account
- No account or key to set up
Islands you file in folders keep the dated observation from when you saved them, along with your notes and analyses.
Reading these numbers right

FAQ
How can I see a Fortnite map’s player count?
In Island Pilot, every island from FNTerminal shows its current players (about 30 minutes behind), its 24-hour peak and its 24-hour change. Full history is on the island’s page on fnterminal.live.
Are the earnings figures from Epic Games?
No. They’re FNTerminal estimates based on playtime. Use them to compare ideas, not to forecast income.
Which islands are included?
Creator islands only: Epic’s own islands are left out. An island that appears in several lists gets a single card, with the badge of each list.
Do I need an FNTerminal subscription?
No. The data reaches Island Pilot with no account or key, and collecting it uses nothing from your AI subscription.
Is the integration included in the price?
Yes. Island Pilot is a one-time purchase, no subscription, with every update included: see pricing.
