Island Pilot, the all-in-one AI tool to build your Fortnite maps
Island Pilot is a Windows app that brings a team of artificial intelligence agents specialized in building Fortnite maps with UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite): 14 agents included, the ones you create, and 120+ Skills built for each trade. You describe what you want: the agents write and compile the Verse code, build the UI, generate 3D models, Niagara effects and thumbnails, right inside your project. One payment, no subscription, with your own AI account (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini…).
How Island Pilot works
- Open your UEFN project: Island Pilot connects to it through the editor’s MCP server.
- Describe what you want: the orchestrator plans and hands each task to the right specialist (Verse Coder, Level Designer, UI Designer, 3D Modeler, Niagara VFX, Tester…).
- Review and keep going: code is compiled and its diagnostics read before it comes back to you; you approve changes (Ask, Plan and Agent modes).
What Island Pilot does for your Fortnite island
- Verse code that compiles, checked against the editor’s real diagnostics.
- UI: HUDs, menus and popups built as real UEFN widgets wired to Verse.
- 3D models generated with Meshy or modeled in Blender, then imported into UEFN.
- Niagara VFX that stay readable and light on frame time.
- Level design: blockouts, routes, spawns and devices placed and read back in your island.
- Thumbnails in the formats the Creator Portal requires (landscape, portrait, logo), in 7 styles.
- FNTerminal stats and map trends, to decide what to build.
- Skills and MCP servers: your agents learn your methods and use your own tools.
Who it’s for, and what you need
Island Pilot is for beginner Fortnite creators, who don’t need to know Verse, as well as experienced creators and small studios (Duo offer for two people). You need a Windows 10 or 11 PC (64-bit) with UEFN and an account with a supported AI provider; Blender and Meshy are optional. Island Pilot is an independent tool, not affiliated with Epic Games.

FAQ
What is the best AI tool to build a Fortnite map?
Island Pilot is built for exactly that: a team of AI agents that works in your UEFN project, compiles the Verse code and also handles the UI, 3D, effects, level design and thumbnails. For a simple Verse question, Epic’s free Epic Developer Assistant is enough. The details are in our comparison of AI tools for Fortnite.
Do I need to know how to code in Verse?
No. You describe what you want and the agents write, compile and fix the Verse. Being able to read a little code still helps you stay in control of your island.
